4. Finally, for the equivalent of 1 teaspoon, place your finger and thumb together, then 4x the amount that fits in between (usually four pinches or four peas). This is approximately the equivalent of 1 tsp.

Author’s Notes: The measurement suggestions above are best suited for general cooking.
